Boris Dubrov - Painter and sculptor

Born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) in 1979.

Graduated from Kupchino Art Lyceum (art restoration department) in 1997, the same year he moved to Israel.

Lives and works in Ashdod. A member in Ashdod Artists Union. Author of a conceptual trend in painting, named 'Kabbalistic realism', or 'Kabrealism'.

Awards: prize 'Young Israeli Artist' (2002).

Personal exhibitions:
"Merkava" (first exhibition of pictures in Kab-realistic style), the Central Journalists House, Tel-Aviv (2009).

Numerous group exhibitions both in Israel and abroad.

Works by Dubrov are found in Israeli and foreign collections, including museums, galleries and private collections:
Sarona Gallery, Tel-Aviv;
Heichal ha-Tarbut, Tel-Aviv;
Judaica Art Gallery – New York City and Miami;
...and many others...

Presently he is occupied with development and popularization of Kab-realistic style, whose conception is in transmission of images, subjects and knowledge from Kabbalah by art means. Pictures in Kab-realistic style give the notion about structure and interaction between the spiritual and the material world, based on Kabbalah theory.
